We offer translation services from and into any combination of languages - all our translators work exclusively into their mother tongue. They handle any sort of text ranging from, for example, basic correspondence or press releases to highly technical literature or video scripts.
How Long Does a Translation Take?
A translator does an average of 2,000 words per working day. Higher rates are possible, however it is important to bear in mind that, to produce a quality translation, translators need time to think over their work.
Rush or over-night work is possible and incurs a surcharge. It is worth remembering that when a translator is able to "sleep on" his work, the result will always be superior to a hurried translation.
Terminology - Glossaries of Terms
Any existing documentation or glossaries of terms relevant to a translation should be provided at the start of a project. This enables translators to maintain your in-house style and/or terminology.
In the absence of any existing terminology or glossaries, translators will use their discretion and experience to choose the terms they feel best reflect the original text. |
